Wine Tasting

Elk Run Hanging Graps“First come the grapes, second comes the wine. Experiencing the whole package is a memorable adventure you’ll want to repeat again and again.”

Wine tasting

Here at Elk Run, we want to help you find your next favorite wine! Given the breadth of our wine list, tasting room staff are available to help recommend wines based on your preferences.

Each wine tasting includes 6 samples of Elk Run wines from our full wine list. $12 per tasting.

*Cellar, Case Club, and Collector Club members are invited to bring 2 extra guests and taste from the wine list at no charge.

*Off Site Tasting Available – $150 plus the cost of wine; must be reserved in advance

Wine Flights

The standard wine tasting is perfect for people doing a tour of multiple wineries in a day or those who want a wide sample before choosing a glass to sip on the patio. For those who may wish to enjoy small glasses of multiple wines at once, our wine flights are the perfect choices! We currently offer two wine flights:

Savor: Three Wines

This is a flight of three wines, each served in a stemless wine glass. This flight includes 3 oz. of each wine, and you may choose any wines from our full wine list. $20 per flight.

Indulge: Six Wines

This is a flight of six wines, each served in a small “taste” tube. This flight includes 2 oz. of each wine, and you may choose any wines from our full wine list. $25 per flight.

Outside Food Policy

Outside food is welcome at Elk Run, but we ask that you enjoy your picnic outside on the patio or the grounds. Our tasting room is cozy, primarily used for tastings and flights. No outside alcohol is allowed on premise. We reserve the right to inspect coolers.

Music

Each May through October, Elk Run highlights local musicians from a wide range of musical genres.

Sippin’ Saturdays & Sippin’ Sundays

On most Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the summer, local musicians play from 3-5 pm for your pleasure.

Wine Down Fridays

Each Friday in the summer at 6pm, the tasting room turns into a wine bar (tastings still available by request) and local musicians perform on the bandstand on the grounds. These Wine Down Fridays require a $5 cover charge, with wine sold separately. Bring a picnic blanket or enjoy the picnic tables and chairs available under the tents.
