Sweet Katherine

This after dinner wine is a made from Cabernet Sauvignon has 8% residual sugar.  It is full of fruit and complexity and goes well with chocolate desserts as well as strong cheeses. This is a very versatile wine. Made from such a dynamic grape, it can be drunk in many ways:

  • Serve chilled as a dessert wine — no extra steps needed
  • Serve warm as a mulled wine by heating on low in a slow cooker and adding a cinnamon stick, orange peel, and star anise
  • Serve as Sangria by combining two parts Sweet Katherine with two parts tonic water and one part orange juice
  • Serve as a Kat Royal by adding a few drops of Sweet Katherine to one glass of Elk Run Sparkling Wine
